Hitting the stores this July 19 is a Post Pregnancy Workout DVD from Tracy Anderson that features Gwyneth Paltrow, who speaks about how losing weight after having her baby was the hardest thing she ever did.
After her two children Apple and Moses, the star has worked hard at returning to her pre-pregnancy shape and has admitted that this was far from easy – so new moms everywhere can take heart from this.
According to Paltrow, it wasn’t so difficult after her first baby, but losing the weight after her second baby was really stubborn though, since the weight was “really hanging on”. She did it however, with the help of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson who has explained how others can do it too, in her DVD.
According to Anderson, every woman can make the time and work out even with baby in the room. She herself has done it with her kids “crawling around all over the place.”
Paltrow admittedly has more resources at her command than the regular new mom, however she has a point when she says that the key is to balance motherhood with one’s own personal needs – in the end if it is important to you it is important to them, she says.
