Jesus Christ!!Cow's milk is not recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics for children under 1 year old. Infants fed whole cow's milk don't get enough vitamin E, iron, and essential fatty acids. They also get too much protein, sodium, and potassium. These levels may be too high for the infant's system to handle. Also, whole cow's milk protein and fat are more difficult for an infant to digest and absorb. I feed him with breast & cow milk. I need to give him cow milk as he sleeps while taking the breast feed & i feel he is starving. So, to make his tummy full i give him the top milk. He takes the top milk feed with his eyes wide open ..but the moment i start giving him breast feed..he sleeps after taking feed for 5-10mints. I am new mother & i want to take care of my baby well. Kindly suggest me how or is ther any other way i can treat constipation problem for my baby. i am not sure if such small baby can be given fruit juices as suggested on various websites. Also, let me know if warm water can be given to such small infants. Kindly suggest as soon as possible. Thank you. Hi,
