Amazon Mom is a new program that is designed to rope in new mothers and their loyalty when buying stuff for their newborn babies. Free shipping and other promotional perks are offered to attract new customers to the online buying portal.
The program is designed to give competition to sellers such as Diapers.com, Walmart, Costco and others, which can offer attractive deals particularly for bulk purchases.
Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer wants to increase their subscriber base and increase buyer loyalty to the site by focusing on the customer and by offering products with low prices, free shipping and the convenience of shopping online.
There is a 305 discount for diapers and wipes offered to those buyers who sign up for Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program for consumable items.
The new mom discussion boards on the site offer more information about the subscription and save offers. It isn’t just the diapers and wipes, but other items also that have discounts and special offers.
