		<description>Uhhmm...  The doctor rarely performs the weight, height, length OR HC.  That&#039;s usually up to the MA to get done, difficult as it may be.  Sometimes the MA is in the room with the family and children longer than the MD actually is.  Length is not always 100% accurate due to movement, and the simple fact newborns are coziest, therefore insist on being in Fetal positioning.  The MA only has so much time to get the measurements due to the 5-8 other patients they may have waiting on them.
To conclude:
Be nice to your MA or nurse, the Dr. can&#039;t function w/o them :)</description>
